The Independent Digital Home for the Northumberland Women’s League
For too long, finding reliable grassroots information, celebrating Sunday matchday successes, and connecting local clubs with new talent has been harder than it needs to be. Tyneside Women was built to change that.
Whether you are a seasoned player, a club secretary organising weekend fixtures, a coach developing a squad, or a supporter of the local game, this platform is built for you.
1 Our Mission
Our goal is simple: to champion the adult women’s game at a grassroots level across Tyneside and Northumberland. As an independent community hub, we believe in togetherness, transparency, and ensuring every player who wants to get on the pitch can find the right club.
We aim to bring the Premier Division and Division 1 communities closer together, shining a spotlight on the commitment that goes into every midweek training session and Sunday afternoon fixture.
2 What We Do
We provide a single, neutral hub supporting every club across the league structure:
League Coverage
Automated fixtures, full-time results, league tables, and dedicated club pages covering both the Premier Division and Division 1.
Club & Player Connections
A community noticeboard where clubs can share matchday posters, promote recruitment days, and connect with players looking for a team.
The Grassroots Hub
Practical tactical blueprints, pathway guides, and club management resources built specifically for grassroots volunteers, coaches, and committees.
3 Built for the North East
Football in our region is built on graft, loyalty, and community pride. Tyneside Women reflects those exact values. We understand the realities of local winter pitches, the work it takes to keep an adult squad thriving, and the pride that comes with pulling on a local shirt on a Sunday afternoon.
