What a way to announce ourselves in the Northumberland League! 👏🏻🩷🖤
The ladies came flying out of the blocks, scoring within the first 3 minutes! 🔥
There was a missed penalty, a few nerves, plenty of laughs… and eventually our coach even turned up! 🤣
Half-time: 3–2 Walker.
A quick jig 💃🏻, a team talk and a reminder from the coach that we could apparently do better! 🤣
And boy, did they listen!
The second half was outstanding. Four more goals, fantastic football and a brilliant team performance from start to finish. 💪🏻🔥
Final whistle…

But today was about so much more than the scoreline.
Back in November, this was just an idea.
Today, those women walked onto a football pitch as a Northumberland League team. 🥹🩷
They’ve worked, laughed, cried, battled through injuries, setbacks and tough training sessions — and today they showed exactly what this team is capable of.
They didn’t just wear the Walker Central badge…
THEY DID IT PROUD. 🩷🖤
From an idea…
To a team…
To a family. ❤️
ONE CLUB. ONE FOOTBALL FAMILY. TOGETHER WE WIN.
This is only the beginning. 🔥⚽️🩷🖤
