FULL TIME | Ladies defeated in a 4-2 game at Newburn this afternoon. Despite a debut brace from Leanne and some good play, we couldnโt get the equalising goals as Sluice stood firm. Missing so many key players was always going to be a struggle.
A very physical battle from both sides that the ref let go but overall with so many new girls and a disjointed pre season, there were loads of positives for us to take into our future games.
Well done to Sluice on their win and weโre coming for revenge in the reverse fixture
